O.K., so Cal did not demonstrate its potential (other than the very first play of the game and the final quarter). And so what if 2,000 dedicated Cal fans were outnumbered more than fifty-fold by 104,000 orange-clad Vol fans. And so what if Cal will plummet in ranks from #9 in the nation to #29. At least Jarrett -- a soon-to-be citizen of the Volunteer State -- got to touch the turf of Neyland Stadium's Shields-Watkins Field wearing the Blue and Gold of the California Golden Bears. And *THAT* is something he can be proud of for years to come!
