After last night's rainstorm (which brought an inch of rain into northern Vermont), we had clear skies and damp streets crossing the northern border of Vermont into Québec. The Québeçois are quite helpful, showing us (above) the difference between U.S. and metric speeds. (Of course, I'd still try to argue with any Mountie who issues me a speeding ticket -- "What do you mean? My cruise control was set at 70!" :-) We'll spend tonight in Ottawa, Canada's national capital (instead of Toronto as originally planned), before heading into the Algonquin Provincial Park tomorrow en route to Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
